I have no idea what this piece of wood is doing out here, my only guess is this was part of a dock or something. At the point of which it enters the water it is eroding away and I figured one day it will break or someone will come along and kick it down. I said to myself,, "Self, I gotta capture that before its gone". That was two years ago!! At high tide you can't see the part that is eroding away so getting a picture of it takes either planning or really good timing. Last week I decided get off my lazy ass and finally take my camera to work with me. On my way home, I decided to do a drive by, wadda ya know!! it's low tide and overcast which is exactly what I wanted!! I'm just happy I got it before it was gone.
